What is bithub?

Bithub is a free, webbased service that lets you upload and sync files among several computers.

  • First you have to create so called "shares" in the login area of the bithub website. Those shares are virtual directories that contain all the files you want to keep in sync.
  • Next, download and install the bithub client and map your newly created shares to local directories on your computer and hit the "Sync now" button.
  • Repeat the last step on all your computers you want to keep synchronized.

How does it work?

  • 150 Megabytes for storing your files.
  • Create up to 5 own shares and access unlimited shares of friends/coworkers.
  • Access your shares in your browser or with the bithub client
  • Share your files with your coworkers or friends.
  • Sync of your local files and files on the bithub server.
